Scores for dancing together
Dancing with other people requires us to navigate various structures, rules, and codes, while balancing personal impulse with collective listening. In my work, I cooperate with performers to design improvisational scores that reflect our shared interests, while also making room for disagreement and individual agency.
In this workshop we will explore a variety of scores, developed during the creation of Memory Palace, and other recent projects in order to experience different ways of dancing together, both in pairs and as a group. Pleasure, resistance, rhythm and compromise will all come into play.

Actively involved with her local dance milieu, she is an artist-member of the collectively run production company Je suis Julio, as well as a board member of the Regroupement québécois de la danse.
