*We will be at the UQAM dance department, 840 Rue Cherrier. The exact studio number will be communicated upon registration (see registration form below).

ABOUT THE SESSIONS
The Movement RDVs are somatic-informed dance classes that evolve as a themed cycle progression of 12 sessions.
Classes start with smooth guided somatic warm-ups based on functional anatomy and imagery that open up the space for improvised creative explorations. We then embark on a floorwork dynamic flow, where the whole body becomes a fleeting intelligent surface of support, moving in a 3D spatial awareness in and out of the floor, with momentum, ease, and efficiency.

ACCESSIBILITY: The practice is open to curious movers from all backgrounds who wish to improve their physical awareness through creative movement and shared dances. The sessions evolve as a build-up so it is preferable to register for the cycle. To respect the flow of other participants and class preparation, drop-ins are only possible upon prior registration.
