In this show aimed at a young audience, Helen Simard, five performers and a musician on stage cast a new light on the surreal worlds we frequent at night.

Dans les bras de Morphée, in the mists of slumber, images arise. A dreamer ventures forth and travels. His dreams lead him to encounter bursts of madness, ingenious references to video games and comic books, as well as a fabulous bestiary made of masks and light. Giving free rein to her imagination, the choreographer orchestrates a surprising and whimsical group piece in which the boundaries of reality are perpetually redefined. This work is a perfect illustration of dance’s striking ability to embody the fantastic and cast it into the waking world.
