Boomerang – danses partagées is a distribution platform developed by EDCM, offering graduates the opportunity to present the fruits of their creative labors.

Choreographic projects by emerging artists graduating from the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal will be presented on International Dance Day.

Following the presentation of the choreographic works, the public is invited to discuss with the choreographers and artists involved. This feedback, an integral part of the experience, is intended to generate and nourish reflections to refine the artists’ choreographic signature and develop their own universe.

Boomerang – danses partagées is a warm and unifying event that encourages the creativity, talent and know-how of contemporary dance artists. It aims to nurture the choreographer’s artistic process and act as a professional springboard for graduates of l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal.
