Born in London, raised in Canada and of mixed Indian-Armenian heritage, contemporary dance choreographer Roger Sinha broke ground ever since his debut 30 years ago with his signature style inspired by Indian classical dance, and contemporary dance.
He’s one of Canada’s well-established dance figures, and he’s inviting you to develop a deeper appreciation of dance through exploring his remarkable cross-cultural dance vocabulary.
From the tendus and dégagés of ballet to the spinal work of contemporary dance and mudras of Indian dance, Roger teaches you his unique technique and helps you elevate your dance, embrace different approaches and celebrate diversity.
Roger Sinha was trained in contemporary dance at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre and in Bharata Natyam with Natasha Bahkt, ex dancer with Shobana Jeyasingh Dance of the United Kingdom.
