Entre jeux lucides, explorations des consciences physiques et partage de sensorialité, Louise Michel Jackson et Hanako Hoshimi-Caines développent un atelier en duo au studio Par B.L.eux. Ces deux performeuses/chorégraphes singulières proposent ici de construire un espace de partage performatif permettant un éveil physique et mental individuel et collectif. Au sein de cet atelier inédit, elles convoquent la pratique et l’imaginaire des participants en menant un travail articulé autour de phases d’expérimentations. Dans une mise en corps de ce qui est, ou n’est pas performatif, elles proposent la création d’images et d’architectures corporelles qui révèlent de nouvelles possibilités dansées.

Hanako Hoshimi-Caines est une chorégraphe et danseuse basée à Montréal. Elle a un engagement émo-critique avec la danse, la chorégraphie et la philosophie comme moyen de voir, de ressentir et d’aimer mieux. Et ce qu’elle entend par amour, c’est une sorte de connaissance ambiguë qui est nécessairement incarnée, transformatrice et qui implique temps et intimité avec les choses. Elle a récemment participé entre autres au projet hybride de La 2ème Porte A Gauche ATTABLER. Sa prochaine pièce Radio III en collaboration avec Zoë Poluch et Elisa Harkins sera présentée au MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels) le 3, 4, 5 juin 2019.

Louise Michel Jackson œuvre depuis 15 ans comme interprète. Après un séjour de 5 ans en Belgique, elle navigue aujourd’hui entre Bruxelles et Montréal, et créer ses propres projets. Elle s’interroge sur la cohabitation et la résonnance entre le corps ‘’athlétique, chorégraphique et corps somatique’’. Elle affectionne le chaos et le débordement, la fragilité de l’instinct, l’éco-système névralgique de l’imperceptible et la notion de disponibilité à travers des trajectoires cérébrales et sensorielles. Elle ce consacre présentement sur une recherche en son, vidéo et mouvement sur la bioluminescence avec l’artiste sonore Magali Babin, en vue d’une première étape de travail présentée au festival Suoni Del Popolo le 18 juin prochain.

Exploratory workshop

Louise Michel Jackson and Hanako Hoshimi-Caines develop a workshop at Par B.L.eux through lucid games, exploration of physical awareness, and exchange of sensorial experiences. These two singular performers/choreographers propose to build a shared performative space allowing for individual and collective awakening of the body and mind. In this original workshop, the artists bring the practice and imagination of the participants together by allowing for different stages of experimentation. They propose the creation of body images and architectures that can reveal new dance possibilities, exploring what may or may not be performative in the physical context.

Hanako Hoshimi-Caines is a Montreal-based choreographer and dancer. She is committed to an emo-critical engagement to dance, choreography and philosophy as a way to see, feel and love better. By love, she refers to an ambiguous kind of knowledge that is necessarily embodied, transformative and involves time and intimacy with things. She recently participated in, amongst other performances, the hybrid project ATTABLER, 2ème Porte à Gauche. Her next piece Radio III, in collaboration with Zoë Poluch and Elisa Harkins, will be presented at MAI (Montreal, Intercultural Arts) on June 3, 4, and 5, 2019.

Louise Michel Jackson has worked as an interpreter for 15 years. After a five-year period in Belgium, she currently travels between Brussels and Montreal creating her own projects. She questions the cohabitation and resonance between the athletic, choreographic, and somatic body. She is interested in chaos and excess, the fragility of instinct, the neurologic eco-system of the imperceptible and the notion of availability through cerebral and sensory trajectories. She is currently committed to bioluminescence research in sound, video, and mouvement with the sonic artist Magali Babin, in preparation for a first stage of work to be presented at the Suoni Del Popolo festival on June 18, 2019.
