A graduate of École Supérieure de Ballet du Québec (2009-2021), Anna Sanchez is a dynamic, versatile, powerful, and meticulous performer and choreographer who has had the opportunity to dance several repertoires including those of Gioconda Barbuto, Andrew Skeels, Gaby Baars, Adi Salant, Sharon Eyal, Crystal Pite, Jiri Kylian, Nacho Duato, William Forsythe, Stijn Celis, George Balanchine, Fernand Nault, and more.
Described as passionate, determined, professional, and musical, Anna has also had the great pleasure of collaborating with the companies Les Grands Ballets, Rubberband, and Skeels Danse.
Having always been very interested in the creative aspect of dance, she had the opportunity to work in co-creation with Quentin Nabor on numerous pieces presented at shows such as the annual conference of Healthy Dancers Canada, the shows at the Théâtre Lyrichorégra20 as well as during the Apprentice Choreographer Program at the École Supérieure. She has also won the jury\public prizes there every year. She also obtains studio residencies allocated by the Grands Ballets Canadiens to develop her creations in 2021 and 2022.
Although also a musician, Anna also regularly participates in workshops or advanced dance courses and seeks an environment that will allow her to surpass herself while sharing her love of movement and music.
Finally, Anna is currently working on the development of her own creations, is the head of the TransFormation 2023 program for Danse à la carte and is a rehearsal assistant for the annual show of the École Supérieure.
