PLEASE NOTE: specific eligibility criteria and terms apply to the Coup de pouce and Coup de pouce Montérégie programs.

IMPORTANT: unless otherwise indicated, RQD training is offered in French.

Who is eligible for RQD training?

  • RQD training is intended primarily for dance professionals (artists, cultural workers, managers, designers, etc.), whether they are employed full-time or part-time, self-employed, or receiving Employment Insurance or social assistance benefits.
  • Dance students are considered for eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
  • Temporary foreign workers in the cultural sector are eligible if they hold a valid work permit at the time of the training.
  • Professionals from artistic disciplines other than dance may participate in our training when space is available.
  • Workers outside the cultural sector and non-professionals in the cultural sector are not eligible for RQD training.

Registration Terms

To participate in RQD training, advance registration is required, and you must complete a registration form for each training you wish to attend.

How to register:

  1. Go to the page for the training you are interested in on our website.
  2. Click the pink Register button. If you are an RQD member, log in to your account: your registration form will be pre-filled with the personal information in your member profile. If you are not a member, you can register as a guest.
  3. Complete all required fields, then click Save. Please note that payment is due at the time of registration (see Payment Terms).

Shortly before the start of a training you have registered for, the RQD will send you a reminder email containing useful information.

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of registration. Our registration platform accepts credit card payments only.

Once the transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation email along with your receipt.

Can’t find your receipt in your inbox? Check your junk or spam folder and allow a few hours for the payment confirmation to arrive. If you still haven’t received it after 24 hours, email dbastien@quebecdanse.org.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Want to cancel your registration and receive a refund?

You must notify us by email at dbastien@quebecdanse.org no later than 48 hours before the training begins.

Your registration fee will be refunded, less a 5% fee corresponding to the commission charged by our payment platform. If your registration is cancelled because the RQD cancels or discontinues the training, you will receive a full refund.

Once your registration has been cancelled, you will receive a confirmation email with your updated receipt.

The refund will appear on your credit card statement within the following days, depending on your financial institution’s processing times. Haven’t received your refund yet? Email dbastien@quebecdanse.org.

Absences or cancellations after the training has begun

No refunds will be issued if you cancel your registration after the training has begun or if you are absent from one or more sessions.

Cancellation of a training by the RQD

  • If a training (or one of its sessions) must be cancelled or rescheduled, the RQD will post the information as soon as possible on its website and social media.
  • If you are registered for a training affected by a cancellation or schedule change, you will be notified by email. If the cancellation occurs at the last minute, you will be contacted immediately by phone.
  • If a training you are registered for is cancelled, or if it is rescheduled and you are unable to maintain your registration, your registration will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.

Training Evaluation

Your feedback on our training is essential to assessing its relevance and maintaining its quality.

After participating in an RQD class or training, you will receive a feedback form. Thank you for taking the time to complete it.
