Seeking a Reception and Reservations Officer
Circuit-Est choreographic centre is seeking an Reception and Reservations Officer who will work under the authority and in collaboration with the General and Artistic Director and the Administrative Director.
Main responsibilities
- Act as the main contact person for users, visitors, and the public. Welcome and orient them, listen to their feedback, and provide Circuit-Est services;
- Manage studio rental scheduling for members;
- Manage the online studio booking platform;
- Receive registrations and payments for professional development/enrichment activities; welcome participants; follow up on Emploi-Québec participation forms, photo and video release forms, and evaluation questionnaires;
- Prepare statistics on participation rates for professional development activities and produce an annual report;
- Participate in discussion groups with users to improve services offered by Circuit-Est and produce a report;
- Ensure smooth communication with non-member users (information circulation, notices, emails, etc.).
Skills
- Strong command of spoken and written French and English;
- Comfortable working in a Mac environment and with Microsoft Office suite;
- Knowledge of Airtable and Google Workspace is an asset;
- Strong organizational skills, rigour, flexibility, and autonomy;
- Creative, proactive, and critical thinker with excellent teamwork and public interaction skills.
Profile
- College diploma or relevant work experience in a related field;
- Good knowledge of the cultural sector and contemporary dance is a strong asset.
Conditions
- Permanent position;
- 12.5 hours/week (2.5 hours per day to ensure morning public reception);
- $20–$22/hour according to salary policy;
- 3 weeks of summer vacation;
- 2 weeks during the holiday period;
