Interprète

Sandrine Parent is a multidisciplinary artist based in Laval and Tiohtià:ke/ Montreal, working in contemporary dance, jazz, theatre and musical theatre. Her artistic approach is driven by a deep interest in interdisciplinary connections and a search for scenic authenticity, where the body becomes a vessel for emotion, storytelling and imagination.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in contemporary dance from UQÀM (2023) and has performed in works by Catherine Gaudet, Parts+Labour_Dance, Emmanuel Jouthe and Sébastien Chalumeau. Her training is enriched by various workshops in ballet, contemporary dance, burlesque, jazz and improvisation. Since 2018, she’s worked in Malefycia, an immersive theatre company, where she explores the intersection of dance, immersive performance, physical theatre and staging.

Also trained in theatre, film and singing, Sandrine develops a practice that joins video dance, original music, acting and visual arts. Her scenic approach is intuitive, embodied and committed, guided by a desire to foster dialogue between disciplines in a continuous search for meaning and presence.
