Originally from Haiti, Véroushka has been dancing since the age of three. Until she was 15, she took classes in drama and classical, Latin, and modern dance, as well as traditional Haitian dances. At 18, she moved to Canada to study at the University of Montreal, where she earned a bachelor's degree in organizational communication. Simultaneously, she continued her dance training, honing her style and technique in urban, social, contemporary, and traditional Haitian dance. Through numerous courses, workshops, and intensive programs across Canada and the United States, including in Toronto, Los Angeles, and New York, she refined her technique and developed as a performer and instructor. Since 2010, she has specialized in traditional Haitian dance, Afro-contemporary dance, and Dancehall. In 2018, she participated in the show "Julie Snyder présente Danser Pour Gagner" on the national channel VTélé with her troupe Womanity, which reached the Top 5 of the best urban dance troupes in Quebec. Véroushka has a passion for teaching and continuing education. In 2018, she earned a Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Cultural Organization Management, followed by a Master's degree in Arts Management in 2021 from HEC Montréal. These studies allowed her, among other things, to deepen her understanding of the Quebec arts and culture scene. Since 2020, she has been developing the Dance in your Zone, Grow Beyond program, which aims to help dancers reconnect with themselves. That same year, she created the Rabòdayiti style, a fusion of traditional Haitian dances and urban dances. In 2022, she was invited by the Quebec Dance Education Network (RED) to participate in the "Come Dance" program to share her knowledge of the Dancehall style. In 2023, RED also invited her to participate in its teacher training program, which welcomes dance teachers from across Quebec. In 2024, Véroushka was elected to the organization's board of directors and assumed the role of head of the pedagogical orientation committee.
Véroushka has coached various competitive dance troupes in Montreal, including Scream Dance Academy, Studio Danse Montréal, Studio Imperium, and Corinne Desfossés Danse. Today, she coaches The Union - A’xtended troupe at A’Motion Dance Montréal. In 2025, the troupe won first place in its category at the Reprezent Québec and iDance competitions, and was also invited to the Showcase and Gala des étoiles, respectively. Véroushka believes in personal development and never tires of discovering and sharing the joy of dance.
