Workshop manager : Danse House
The Cultural Activities Department of Student Life Services at the Université de Montréal is looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to lead House dance workshops starting in Fall 2025.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and lead House dance workshops for a group of up to 25 participants.
- Teach techniques and choreographies characteristic of the House style, accessible to both beginner and intermediate levels.
- Emphasize groove, freedom of movement, and individual expression.
- Encourage participants to build confidence and creativity through this energetic dance style.
Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience in dance, with a specialization or strong interest in House dance.
- Ability to share knowledge with both clarity and enthusiasm.
- Talent for motivating and inspiring a group, while creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Additional Information:
- Expected Schedule: Sessions will begin at the end of September and run for 9 weeks. The exact schedule will be determined based on the selected candidate’s availability and studio hours.
- Location: Espace 215, 215 Jean Talon East
- Contract: 15.5 hours per group
- The workshop will be part of the training program offered on https://catalogue.vieetudiante.umontreal.ca
