Seeking a Touring & Booking Coordinator

Touring & Booking Coordinator

Permanent Part-Time Position
15 hours per week

Help bring inspiring artistic works to audiences!

For the past 35 years, Théâtre Incliné has created productions that bring together visual theatre, contemporary puppetry, movement, and poetry. Its works have been presented across Quebec, Europe, and Asia, reaching audiences of all ages.

The coming years promise to be especially exciting, with an international co-production with Finland, a new touring production, the development of cultural mediation projects, and a move into the future Lysanne-Gendron Creation Centre, located in the heart of Laval’s new cultural hub.

To support this growth, Théâtre Incliné is seeking a Touring & Booking Coordinator to help expand the reach of its work among presenters, festivals, and cultural partners.

Why Join the Team?

You’ll become part of a small, passionate team where ideas flow freely and everyone plays a meaningful role in the company’s development.

The position offers:

  • A highly flexible schedule;
  • Primarily remote work;
  • A collaborative, creative, and people-centered work environment;
  • Professional development opportunities;
  • Hands-on involvement in developing cultural markets in Quebec and internationally;

Main Responsibilities

Working closely with the Executive Director and Artistic Director, you will help develop the touring and presentation of the company’s productions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring presenters, festivals, and touring opportunities;
  • Maintaining professional databases and contact lists;

  • Assisting in the preparation of touring packages, presentations, sales materials, and promotional tools;
  • Supporting tour planning and scheduling;
  • Coordinating the company’s participation in professional marketplaces (RIDEAU, CINARS, ROSEQ, MIC, etc.);
  • Managing administrative tasks related to touring activities;
  • Organizing and maintaining touring documentation.

Profile

You’re someone who enjoys building lasting relationships rather than simply making sales. You’re motivated by helping ambitious artistic projects find their audiences.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Relevant experience in performing arts touring, cultural management, or a related field;
  • A strong interest in the performing arts;
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Strong writing abilities;
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English;
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and collaborative digital tools.

Interest in artificial intelligence and digital technologies is considered an asset.

Conditions

  • Permanent part-time position;
  • 15 hours per week;
  • $26–$30/hour, depending on experience;
  • Primarily remote work, with regular in-person presence in Laval;
  • Start date: September 2026;
  • Occasional evening work and travel for industry events or professional marketplaces.

The company is open to sharing this position with another organization to create a full-time role.
