The École supérieure de ballet du Québec is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to coordinate its communications and marketing activities. Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Public Relations, the successful candidate will develop and implement an operational plan aligned with the School’s overall strategy. They will work closely with a graphic designer, a photographer-videographer, and various team members to carry out communication projects. They will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing and communications initiatives related to recruitment and the promotion of the School’s activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop content strategies and oversee their distribution across the School’s social media channels and digital platforms.
- Implement marketing campaigns focused on student recruitment at the local, national, and international levels.
- Design marketing and promotional initiatives for professional and recreational programs, performances, activities, and merchandise.
- Create, format, and distribute newsletters, and maintain mailing lists.
- Update and optimize the School’s website content.
- Produce and adapt a variety of content (written materials, video edits, promotional documents) in collaboration with specialized team members.
- Prepare and analyze performance reports.
Candidate Profile
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
- Two to four years of experience in marketing or digital project coordination.
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written, and a good knowledge of English.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Google Analytics, mass email platforms).
- Excellent writing skills.
- Comfortable working in a Mac environment.
Assets
- Video editing skills.
- Interest in dance and knowledge of the cultural or artistic sector.
Personal Qualities
- Strong autonomy, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Working Conditions and Benefits
- Permanent full-time position (35 hours per week).
- Salary between $37,000 and $42,000, depending on experience.
- Group insurance, retirement savings plan (RRSP), annual vacation, and personal/sick days.
