Performer(s) Wanted
The DIORAMA project is seeking a performer for the upcoming production and presentation period. DIORAMA is a dance-technology work that replicates, on a small scale, the interdependent dynamics found in ecosystems. The technological setup consists of a giant mobile equipped with motion sensors that capture its own movements as well as those of the performers in real time, with this data affecting the sound and lighting of the work. Performers move within this environment following a guided improvisation score. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with and experienced in improvisation, hold professional dance training, and be interested in joining an interdisciplinary team.
The selected performer must be available on the following dates:
- November 10–16, 2025
- December 3–15, 2025 outside Montreal
- 8 days in January/early February 2026 (dates to be determined)
- February 17–21, 2026 (presentation)
- 2 days of rehearsal in late April/early May (dates to be determined)
- May 12–20, 2026 (presentation)
