Campaign Goals and Information:
Margie Gillis’ repertoire of over 150 solos, duets, and group works that have gone on to tour globally were first conceived in the St. Mark’s church space in Acton Vale. The Acton Vale Residency Program is an initiative designed to support emerging choreographers from Quebec and beyond to nurture their creativity, develop new works, and foster creative exchange with the community. Thanks to our partnership with St. Mark’s church, our dream of expanding this space and offering it to new artists is very feasible. We are fundraising to cover costs of small renovations and repairs to the space, artist compensation, cleaning and maintenance.
