Afro-urban Dance Workshop Teacher
Université de Montréal’s Student Life Services Cultural Activities is looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to lead Afro-Urban dance workshops starting in Fall 2025 or Winter 2026.
Main responsibilities:
Design and lead Afro-urban dance workshops adapted to a group of 25 people.
Teach choreographies inspired by the repertoire, adapted to beginner and intermediate levels.
Propose dance techniques while cultivating a playful, collaborative spirit.
Encourage participants to develop their confidence and artistic expression.
Profile required:
Previous dance experience, with a specialization or interest in Afro-urban dance.
Ability to pass on knowledge with enthusiasm and pedagogy.
Ability to motivate and inspire a group, while ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Additional information :
Compensation : 35$/h
Schedule: Evenings, weekdays, 1h30/week for 9 sessions. Schedule to be discussed according to dance studio availability.
Workshops will take place at Espace 215, 215 Jean Talon Est.
15.5h contract per group
