The Centre de services scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys (CSSMB) is looking for dynamic and inspiring teachers to fill substitute positions in elementary and secondary schools.

Responsibilities

Educational Tasks

  • Teach lessons and courses as per the school curriculum;
  • Supervise and provide academic catch-up support.

Other Professional Tasks

  • Manage projects assigned by the administration;
  • Communicate and follow up with other staff members, school administration, and parents (intervention plans, student follow-up, etc.);
  • Supervise students during arrivals and transitions;
  • Prepare, plan, and grade assignments.

Requirements and Skills

  • Be a full-time student enrolled in a Quebec university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Education, with at least 15 completed credits, proof of current enrollment, and passing the French test (TECFÉE, SEL, or CÉFRANC) before graduation.

  • Hold one of the following qualifications (see Qualifications section).

  • Provisional teaching authorization – Required
    or
  • Teaching certificate – Required
    or
  • Probationary teaching permit – Required

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching – Dance for preschool and elementary levels – An asset

Languages

  • Spoken French – Advanced – Required
  • Written French – Advanced – Required
