CAPAS – General Coordinator

CAPAS is a dance label founded by Lydie Revez and Mickaël Spinnhirny, active since 2018 across Quebec and beyond. Initially conceived as a platform for contemporary dance dissemination, CAPAS has become a key player in the field, notably through its ability to showcase works outside major centers, build bridges between the Quebec and international dance scenes, and offer innovative models of artistic circulation. Since 2020, CAPAS has also taken on the role of producing shows, developing its own creations, including La question des fleurs (2020) and Minuit quelque part (2024).

Role

This new permanent position is designed for someone who enjoys managing a project from start to finish, thrives equally on strategy and operations, and finds pleasure in navigating between clients, team members, and digital tools. The mission: serve as the coordination hub within CAPAS while actively engaging in content deployment, integration, and online management. The role combines strategic organization and oversight with hands-on tasks such as website management, content formatting, and logistical support. This is a position for someone who enjoys juggling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a clear overall vision.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate CAPAS’s artistic and digital projects: planning, monitoring, resources, and reporting.
  • Maintain attentive and lasting relationships with clients and partners: listening, support, smooth communication with the team, and relationship building.
  • Manage and update CAPAS’s and clients’ websites: integrate text, visuals, and videos; improve navigation; make corrections.
  • Implement digital strategies: newsletters, web posts, social media, analytics tracking.
  • Perform simple graphic integrations: web visuals, banners, layouts.
  • Support the team with administrative and logistical tasks: budget tracking, reports, vendor coordination.

Profile

  • Impeccable coordination skills, sharp sense of organization and prioritization.
  • Strong proficiency with digital tools (Wix Studio, newsletters, collaborative tools, social media).
  • Basic skills in graphic design and layout (Canva, Adobe, or equivalent).
  • Versatility and curiosity: able to switch from a client call to web integration, from budget work to digital campaigns.
  • Initiative, autonomy, proactivity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly.
  • Strong interest in the cultural and artistic sector.

Working Conditions

  • Permanent position, 35 hours per week
  • Start date: Fall 2025 – depending on availability
  • Salary: $54,600 to $63,700 – depending on experience
  • Location: CAPAS office, 2 Sainte-Catherine East, Montreal
