Seeking for Reception and Administrative Support
Studio 303, a service and training organization in contemporary dance and interdisciplinary performance, is seeking for Reception and Administrative Support.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, responsible and enterprising, and who wants to be part of a small, close-knit team committed to the artistic community it serves. This position requires planning, evaluation and prioritization skills, in addition to traditional operational tasks.
Main responsibilities
Reception and maintenance:
Welcome and inform the public and artists in residence, during independent productions or rentals.
Manage the general mailbox (info@studio303.ca) and answer telephone calls.
Maintain general upkeep of spaces (studio, office) and technical equipment, including supplies management, housekeeping and repairs.
Technical and production:
Assess technical needs of projects and provide technical advice or support as required.
Support the supervision of equipment and supplies for Studio activities (workshops, residencies, events, productions).
Support coordination of residency and course logistics (artist management, contracts, payments, follow-up).
Plan studio schedule and coordinate with artists.
Manage freelancers involved in residencies (photographers, videographers, etc.).
Accounting and administration:
Assist in managing residency budgets, including contracts, artist payments and expense tracking.
Support box office management (Zeffy platform), track deposits (Interac, Zeffy, cash) and process grant applications for professional workshops.
Compile and track Studio activity statistics via Airtable in collaboration with the Communications team.
Skills required
Excellent interpersonal and hospitality skills.
Organized and rigorous in managing multiple tasks.
Interest or experience in the performing arts, an asset.
Good command of computer tools (e-mail, file management, databases, etc.).
Ability to solve minor technical problems.
Team spirit and autonomy.
Bilingual French-English
Conditions
Start date: July 2, 2025
8-week contract initially, then possible extension to a renewable one-year position, 28 to 35 hours per week
Workplace: Studio 303, Montreal.
Hourly wage: between $18 and $23, according to Employment Canada standards.
