Objective

Can old age bear witness to beauty? Far from the clichés of decline, this workshop invites you to reinvent aging as a source of inspiration. What if every wrinkle were the map of an imaginary world?

Through a playful and performative approach, we will explore aging not as an end, but as raw creative material. The program is built around three pillars:

Bodily Exploration: Using authentic movement and improvisation to inhabit our sensations.

Storytelling: Diving into personal and collective memories through automatic writing.

Play: Embodying envisioned versions of old age through role-play and imaginary realms.

This space for sharing, open to all ages, acts as a laboratory for collective reflection. Depending on the group, this journey may culminate in a short performance.

Content

We’ll share stories, reflections, and short performances. All ages are welcome, as well as diverse groups such as adolescents, students, seniors, women, and queer individuals.

Each session, we check in with each other, and a soft warm-up will follow, through automatic writing and authentic movement. From there, we will explore through improvisation the possibility of developing performance material.

After a break, we work solo or in groups to prepare a presentation for the group and discuss what we have been working on to close the session.
