What is prompt engineering?
Prompt engineering — or promptogénie in French — refers to the art of formulating and refining the instructions (or prompts) given to a language model, such as GPT, in order to obtain relevant and useful responses or results adapted to your specific needs. It is about crafting your prompts carefully so the AI understands exactly what you want and produces high-quality outputs.

Sandra Raymond is a cultural worker passionate about music, dance, and video; she loves making artists and organizations shine through communications and the organization of unifying events. She holds a Bachelor’s in Cultural Animation and Research from UQAM, as well as college diplomas (DEC) in contemporary dance and in electronics from Cégep de Sherbrooke. Her background in telecommunications led her from television (MAtv) to communications in several festivals and dance companies, as well as to the Société de développement commercial et culturel du Quartier latin. She has solid experience in cultural promotion—from websites to newsletters, and across social media, Zoom, and YouTube.

Instructor
François Burra is a product strategist, UX consultant, mentor, and speaker specializing in digital decarbonization. With 13 years of experience in the technology industry, he reoriented his career in 2021 toward combating the climate crisis. Since then, he has been helping organizations reduce their digital emissions by offering training, measuring ecological footprints, and designing low-carbon user experiences. He is the co-founder of the Collectif Numérique Responsable et Soutenable (CNR), a Quebec initiative aimed at promoting sustainable digital practices.
