Presenting Dance on the International Stage
Deploying one’s artistic work internationally requires a solid understanding of the dynamics that shape foreign markets. This training provides concrete reference points to consider touring outside Quebec and to initiate a structured process of development on a global scale.
Guided by the CAPAS team along with invited international specialists, you will explore the different facets of touring abroad: prospecting, networking, artistic adaptation, administrative considerations, as well as communication and marketing on a global scale.
Through an interactive presentation, inspiring case studies, and testimonials from field experts, you will be led to analyze the cultural and professional realities specific to different territories, to adjust your artistic offer with precision, and to design a strong and realistic action plan for your international development.
Particular emphasis will be placed on networking, participation in key sector events, and developing a relevant strategic positioning on a global level.
A presentation document as well as practical resources will be made available to participants during the training.
