Master Plan for professional dance – First meeting

Let’s mobilize collective intelligence to move the history of our art to its fullest expression

The curtain has fallen on the master plan for professional dance 2011-2021.

As a reminder, following the second States-General of Dance in April 2009, the large dance community gathered to identify the means, actors, and conditions for a broad deployment of professional dance. A master plan had been developed for the period from 2011 to 2021. Numerous projects have been implemented and shape our landscape today.

It’s time to once again take stock, to examine with lucidity and courage the progress of dance in Quebec, but also the new challenges and all the opportunities to seize to drive exceptional growth of the discipline for the next five years!

We invite you to actively participate in the update of the master plan for professional dance 2025-2030.
Whether you are a choreographer, performer, teacher, manager, etc., your perspective is precious, and your unique viewpoint on the sector will enrich the discussions. For this first phase of consultation, your contribution is decisive. Come in large numbers.

On Tuesday, March 12: come to discover the ways of your involvement, share your experience, and assess the master plan for professional dance 2011-2021.
