Dance Intensive for the Public – Compagnie Marie Chouinard
Discover the world of COMPAGNIE MARIE CHOUINARD with the company dancers during the 10th edition of the open workshop for all. Participants will have the opportunity to explore Marie Chouinard’s choreographic systems and immerse themselves in her precise and pulsating movement language.
Each day begins with meditation and body-awareness classes focusing on breath and sound. Participants will engage with the unique rhythm and physicality of the choreographer’s work, spinal articulation, presence, and internal connections. They will experience sensations and practices that awaken their perception to new dimensions—all in a simple, organic, sensitive, and accessible way.
No prior dance experience is required.
Teaching will be led by 13 exceptional company interpreters:
Carol Prieur, Clémentine Schindler, Adrian W.S. Batt, Sophie Qin, Valeria Gallucio, Michael Baboolal, Jérôme Zerges, Béatrice Larouche, Rose Gagnol, Luigi Luna, Ana Van Tendeloo, Justin Calvadores, and Paige Culley.
