Seeking for Ticket Clerk – Weekends
Located in the heart of multicultural Montreal, Maison Théâtre presents theatrical works for children and young people and promotes their recognition and influence in Quebec and elsewhere. In this spirit, it is looking for someone to join its box office team during family performances on weekends. Reporting to the marketing department and the family ticket office advisor, the ticket clerk answers customer questions and needs, keeps the ticketing software up to date, and collaborates with the Maison Théâtre’s reception and mediation teams and artists when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Open, operate, and close the box office on weekends
- Sell tickets and subscriptions by phone, in person, and online
- Inform and advise customers about the various shows and activities at Maison Théâtre
- Process requests for complimentary tickets for companies and the media
- Maintain the customer database and keep it up to date
- Answer the phone
- Manage the petty cash
DESIRED PROFILE
- Customer service experience required (ticketing experience an asset)
- Comfortable with the public and able to communicate easily over the phone
- Independent, good judgment, resourceful, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask during busy periods
- Knowledge of ticketing software is a definite plus (e.g., Tuxedo)
SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS
- Availability from September 24, 2025, to June 21, 2026
- Variable hours, mainly Friday evenings and weekends (depending on the shows scheduled)
- Availability during the day, on weekdays, required during certain periods such as the holiday season and during the renewal month (May)
- Hourly wage: $18.06
