Seeking for Content and Digital Marketing Manager
The Festival TransAmériques (FTA) is an international performing arts festival dedicated to dance and theater in their most contemporary forms. Since its first edition in 1985, the FTA has been seeking out new perspectives and bold, unique creations. Located in Montreal/Tio’tia:ke/Mooniyang, the FTA engages with its city, its history, its stages, and its neighborhoods. It invites and engages diverse audiences, which it seeks to expand and inspire.
At the heart of the communications team, under the supervision of the communications and marketing department, the digital content and marketing manager plays a key role in promoting the Festival. This person is responsible for planning, designing, and deploying digital content, with a focus on writing newsletters and managing the Festival’s social media and website. In line with the FTA’s mission and values, the Digital Content and Marketing Manager’s responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to support the Festival’s positioning, visibility, and engagement with target audiences;
- Developing and managing editorial calendars for digital campaigns and communications (newsletters, social media, website);
- Write, create, and coordinate content for newsletters, social media, and the website, ensuring consistency with the Festival’s tone, mission, and communication plan;
- Plan, write, and publish content in French and English on social media, ensuring the loyalty and development of virtual communities (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.);
- Act as a resource person for the Festival website: coordinate updates, integration, and consistency of published content, as well as site optimization with developers and the agency (as needed);
- Implement and monitor performance indicators for the various digital platforms;
- Collaborate with the communications team to roll out communication plans for shows and activities;
- Supervise an assistant or intern, if applicable.
Relevant experience in a position with similar responsibilities;
- Excellent knowledge of social media;
- Excellent writing skills in English;
- Fluency in English;
- Creativity, autonomy, initiative, interpersonal skills, dynamism, and organizational skills;
- Proven ability to work in a team;
- Ability to work under pressure in an event-driven environment, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities at once;
