Seeking Dancers and Featured Participants

CALL FOR CANDIDATES – Digital Video Shooting Project – End of July-August 2025 in Montreal

For this new collaboration, artists Alexandre Desjardins (director), Geneviève Lauzon (choreographer) and Olivier Girouard (sound designer) are looking for 8 movement artists and around 7 participants of all ages (teenagers, adults and seniors).

The project is a poetic and sensitive reflection of the human diversity that crosses public space every day. We aim to create a crowd in motion, imbued with authenticity, attentiveness and nuance.

Profiles sought Movement artists (Dancers, all ages) – paid

Professional dance artists, all styles welcome
Experience in contemporary dance: an asset
Artists from diverse cultural, physical, gender and background backgrounds: strongly encouraged to apply

Featured participants (Extras) (all ages) – paid

Dance artists and theater artists with movement, physical play or improvisation skills: welcome
Anyone with physical ease, experience in movement, theater or learning choreography
Open to a plurality of bodies, backgrounds and expressions

Commitment required – Montreal

Movement artists only – Rehearsals: July 28 and 29, 2025 (daytime)
Movement artists AND extras – Shooting: August 20 and 21, 2025
