Giverny Welsch

Since earning her bachelor’s degree in dance from UQAM in 2018, Giverny has participated in various projects, creating and performing in productions by Human Playground, Compagnie Optixx, the Laborare collective, Compagnie de danse Sursaut, and Bodiography Contemporary Ballet. 

Today, she is developing her teaching practice in somatic education to foster imagination and self-confidence by organizing sensory experiences within aquatic ecosystems. This somatic and “dance-based” approach combines the themes of the abyss, water, the shoreline, and the skin.
