Myriam/Milo Foisy
Interprète
Share, communicate, advocate—these are the forces driving Myriam/Milo Foisy to gravitate between psychosocial intervention, contemporary dance, performance art, and activism. Their aspirations have inspired them to reflect on the performing arts: their universality, sensitivity, and political potential.
Myriam/Milo graduated from the École de Danse Contemporaine de Montréal in 2014 with the Sophia Borella scholarship. Since then, they have performed at several venues and festivals in Montreal (Tiohtiá:ke), throughout Quebec, and in Europe, including OFF Avignon, OFFTA, Usine C, Espace libre, Théâtre Lachapelle, Maison de la culture Maisonneuve, Tangente, Trillium, Fringe, FAR, FQD, Vue sur la relève, Dark Horse Dance Project, Dance Matters, Zone Homa, etc.
With Sarah Dell'Ava and Chloé Bourdages-Roy, they also accompany cultural mediation activities.
Since 2019, they have been primarily involved in co-creation, dissemination, and production projects with the collectif NU.E.S to democratize sexual identities through transdisciplinary performances.
