ZEUGMA DANSE – Le Studio Z
Located in the heart of Montréal’s Mile End, just steps from Laurier metro station (orange line), Studio Z is ZEUGMA DANSE’s creation and rehearsal space. Thanks to its functional layout, the studio supports artists throughout the various stages of the dance creation process.
Studio Z is a 1,800-square-foot space, warmly designed to welcome creators and their performers. It is divided into two areas. The creation space, with a total area of 1,250 sq. ft., is bright and inviting, featuring large windows that let in natural light. A resilient dance floor measuring 24’ x 52’, covered with a dance mat, is installed to ensure dancers’ health and safety. The creation space includes all the equipment necessary for choreographers and performers to work comfortably.
The relaxation area, measuring 550 square feet, includes two changing rooms, a kitchenette, a lounge, and a restroom.
An online calendar allows users to check studio availability and make reservations.
With affordable rental rates and a discount for RQD members, Studio Z aims to provide the entire artistic community with a space for exploration, experimentation, and creation that reproduces the conditions of a performance stage.

- Capacity of 12 to 20 people per class, depending on the practice

Rental rates:
- Rehearsals: $17/hour
- Workshops and intensives: $21/hour or $25/hour, depending on the number of participants
- 15% discount for RQD members
