Seeking for a Dance Teacher
Mission of Takabouger: Inspire young people to stay active and enjoy moving. With TKBG, you contribute to youth health through your passion for dance!
Type of employment: Self-employed dance instructor and activity leader. Freelance candidate pool.
Dance style: Hip Hop Cardio (Zumba-inspired).
Location: Elementary schools in Quebec City, Lévis, and surrounding areas.
Number of hours: Variable depending on your availability. Contracts are assigned to the instructor who confirms availability first.
Pay: Variable depending on the type of contract. Between $45 and $95/hour.
Types of Contracts
AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS
- Teach choreography to children
- 8-class after-school session during lunch hour or after school
- Present or film a mini-show for parents
OCCASIONAL WORKSHOPS
- Teach choreography to children
- Number of workshops varies depending on the contract
PEDAGOGICAL DAYS
- 3 dance workshops in the morning and 1 mini-show in the afternoon
- Activity during daycare hours from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL OR END-OF-YEAR EVENTS
- Crowd entertainment
- Dance workshops
- Interactive performance
Requirements to Become a TKBG Member
- Car (or another means of transportation)
- Portable Bluetooth speaker
- Experience teaching dance to children
- Experience as an entertainer/activity leader (not mandatory)
- Flexible weekday daytime availability
- Energetic, physically fit, punctual, and responsible
