Seeking for a Dance Teacher

Mission of Takabouger: Inspire young people to stay active and enjoy moving. With TKBG, you contribute to youth health through your passion for dance!

Type of employment: Self-employed dance instructor and activity leader. Freelance candidate pool.

Dance style: Hip Hop Cardio (Zumba-inspired).

Location: Elementary schools in Quebec City, Lévis, and surrounding areas.

Number of hours: Variable depending on your availability. Contracts are assigned to the instructor who confirms availability first.

Pay: Variable depending on the type of contract. Between $45 and $95/hour.

Types of Contracts

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

• Teach choreography to children
• 8-class after-school session during lunch hour or after school
• Present or film a mini-show for parents

OCCASIONAL WORKSHOPS

• Teach choreography to children
• Number of workshops varies depending on the contract

PEDAGOGICAL DAYS

• 3 dance workshops in the morning and 1 mini-show in the afternoon
• Activity during daycare hours from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL OR END-OF-YEAR EVENTS

• Crowd entertainment
• Dance workshops
• Interactive performance

Requirements to Become a TKBG Member

• Car (or another means of transportation)
• Portable Bluetooth speaker
• Experience teaching dance to children
• Experience as an entertainer/activity leader (not mandatory)
• Flexible weekday daytime availability
• Energetic, physically fit, punctual, and responsible
