Launch of Spirale 290 – Dance and Expenditure / Roundtable “Dances of Exhaustion

The Spirale team invites you to Usine C on Monday, October 20, starting at 5 p.m., for the launch of issue 290 – Dance and Expenditure. This issue, curated by Catherine Lavoie-Marcus, explores a fundamental question: do we dance in order to expend ourselves, or do we expend ourselves in order to dance?

Beyond productivist logics, dance invents other forms of exchange where the value of gestures cannot be measured. But how can we create without exhausting or impoverishing ourselves?

On this occasion, we will present a roundtable hosted by RADIO SPIRALE X USINE C entitled “Dances of Exhaustion”, which extends the reflection of this issue by exploring the unique tension between an art of pure loss and an art of degrowth.
