Back-to-School Classes

Once again this year, Bouge de là is partnering with Circuit-Est and the Département de danse de l’UQAM to present its 2025 Back-to-School Classes!

Marianne Gignac-Girard will offer professional dancers, as well as dance students*, four days of contemporary technique classes designed to help participants get back in shape after the summer break.

The classes will take place from August 25 to 28 at Circuit-Est.

10:00 to 11:30 a.m.:

This pressure-free class invites participants to engage in a practice free of tension, focused on inner connection and mutual listening. Marianne offers a hybrid approach — duets, simple tasks in movement language, followed by individual exploration — to awaken sensitivity, presence, and creativity. A gentle space where the body unfolds naturally, with confidence, guided by intuition and attentive listening.
