Morphoses – A Sherbrooke Premiere

Morphoses is a choreographic performance that explores the elusive realms of the unconscious and spaces of transformation, in a dialogue between life and death, reality and illusion. Through shifting visual tableaux, the body becomes a site of metamorphosis and illusion, giving rise to hybrid figures between human, creature, and animal.

Drawing on mythology and symbolism, the work examines our relationship to death and to deep, internal spaces. It is a multidisciplinary creation combining contemporary dance, masks, and embodied puppetry.
