Call for Participants – STIR FRY
Not wanting to take for granted what artists in the movement need these days, we (Stefania Skoryna in collaboration with Adèle Raux-Copin) decided to create the STIR FRY event, where the content emerges from the artistic needs expressed by the artists.
We are surveying the artistic needs of artists interested in the body, movement, and embodiment practices, and then issuing a public invitation to contribute to and nurture their artistic approaches, practices, and reflections. The event will take place at Studio La Poêle (5333 Casgrain, room 307, 3rd floor) on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (doors open at 2:30 p.m.) in a gentle and curious environment, a comfortable setting where we take care to reflect and experiment together.

STIR FRY is structured in blocks of up to 45 minutes, which will be guided by Stefania and Adèle. It will be possible to experiment in pairs, in small groups, or with everyone present. After 45 minutes, there will be a rearrangement of the space and the atmosphere, and then we will move on to the next question. Snacks and teas/herbal teas will be provided!
Two ways to participate:
Fill out the form: share an artistic need using the form and be available on November 16 to discuss your question or experiment.
Contribute: wait for the STIR FRY announcement and then attend the event, offering your perspective, your listening skills, your way of moving, your references, your experiences, etc.
IF YOU WANT TO SHARE YOUR ARTISTIC NEED
Here are some examples of what we mean by an artistic need: verbalizing an idea, testing a creative exercise, asking a question related to a theme, putting an idea into motion with others, being inspired by different processes, stimulating your creativity, having others name what they see in your work, presenting in front of others without feedback, etc.
We encourage you to open the form to clarify other aspects of the event.
IF YOU WANT TO CONTRIBUTE, ATTEND
STIR FRY is for anyone interested in artistic approaches, practices, and processes who wants to take part in the questions raised by artists in the movement.
In a spirit of collaboration and sharing, we start from the principles that everyone has something to offer simply by being present and that we don’t know how, but trust that our personal artistic experiences can nourish someone else’s process. With a view to mutual non-monetary support, we aim to foster curiosity about the approaches and practices of others.
