Osez! is a unique artistic encounter between a choreographer and a group of dance performers, who come together to create an ephemeral, spontaneous, and lively work before the eyes of the audience. This collaborative creative experience is a founding concept for the choreographic company Danse K par K, which has been producing the event since 2005. The event culminates in an exclusive performance born out of this artistic effervescence.

For the very first time, three choreographers from different countries—Bruno Pradet (France), Karine Ledoyen (Canada), and Karine Ponties (Belgium)—are combining their visions in a joint creation, in collaboration with some thirty performers divided into two cohorts, who are taking part in the adventure over two weeks. A live musician on stage—Jean-Michel Dumas—accompanies this celebration of movement and cultural exchange. The choreography draws its inspiration from the colorful, free, and feminist work of Niki de Saint Phalle, featured at the MNBAQ for the summer and fall seasons.
