SRT is a creative process that purcolates in the body over time. Through guided imagery, music and hands-on partner studies, Skinner Releasing TechniqueTM facilitates a deep kinaesthetic experience of movement and in time a shedding of beliefs and patterns that limit our freedom to move. It is an experiential, intuitive approach that utilizes imagery as a powerful tool for transformation. Founder, Joan Skinner (1924-2021) was a pioneer of release and somatic movement approaches to dance training and performance. Open to all, with or without formal movement training. Welcome to everyone.
