Marguerite Ingenito

Marguerite Ingenito is an emerging choreographer and leader of the PenserDanser project. She has co-founded a dance company in Gatineau, in the form of a social economy enterprise. She proposes original and contemporary choreographic works. The works are both relational and intellectual, critiquing the social norms of what constitutes knowledge.

The choreographer sees contemporary dance as an open door for philosophical research about the human being. She has taught philosophy at the college level and is preparing writing a thesis for her Master's degree in philosophy. She conducts a series of choreographic projects in collaboration with dance artists and various disciplines to develop PenserDanser's artistic activities.
