Eryn Dace Trudell, is the mother of two children.
As a dance artist, researcher, producer, presenter, choreographer, performer and teacher, she has experience in all aspects of dance from thought to stage. Her long and versatile career includes commissions from notable theatre, dance and opera companies and award-winning choreography.
Ms Trudell holds a MA in Dance from The University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) and a BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School. She is a certified facilitator of Skinner Releasing Technique™ and a practitioner of Contact Improvisation (CI). She is a member of Régroupement Québécois de la Danse (RQD),The Dancers Transition Centre (DTRC) and The Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists (CDA)
Ms Trudell’s students include professional and non-professional adult dancers, educators, children, and parents with their children. She particularly enjoys inclusive dance practices, which ignite community spirit and collective consciousness through artistic and creative physical exploration. Ms Trudell has taught in private studios and public institutions across Canada from Newfoundland to Lasqueti Islandand and in Yamaguchi, Japan and Florianopolis, Brazil,
Eryn is on the roster of Artists Inspire and Répertoire culture-éducation, and has been specializing in working with neuro-diverse students in primary school using music/dance/movement as a means of connection, expression and confidence building.
