Ève Constantin

Chorégraphe, Enseignant.e, Travailleur.se culturel.le, Chercheur.se, Interprète, Agent.e de développement

Ève Constantin (they/she) is a contemporary dance artist and researcher (Master's degree from UQAM, BFA from Concordia). Fascinated by the unpredictable and unstable movements of glitches—those errors that reveal dysfunctions—their choreographic practice explores dance as a tool for self-care and daily transformation, through accessible and playful approaches.

They have collaborated with the companies Nadère Arts Vivants (contemporary) and The Medusas (burlesque), and have been working in creative modeling since 2017. Always looking to add layers to their live art, they enrich their performances with targeted training, such as clowning (DynamO Théâtre) and improvisation (Productions L'Instable). Their hobbies, like sewing, indie video games, and horror films, also nourish their artistic approach. Under the name Double Trouble, they have embodied a kinky, trashy, disgusting, and chaotic character since 2023, using food and primal screams for exorcism performances at Latex techno raves in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang.

For Ève, everyday life is creation: walking, dressing, cooking… everything inspires them. They juggle their daytime work as a community worker with their evening and weekend performances, participating in music videos [The Operator, Adamantin, March 2025], immersive experiences [Malefycia, October 2025], short films (Le Cri des Statues, August 2024), and alternative festivals [Jamais Lu 25th edition, June 2026].
