Matéo Chauchat

Matéo Chauchat is a contemporary dance artist and cultural worker based in Montréal. A graduate of the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal in 2017, he has since performed in works by choreographers such as Martin Messier, Andréa Peña, Sylvain Émard, and Sarah Dell’Ava.
Since 2016, he has collaborated closely with Sarah Dell’Ava on intergenerational creation and cultural mediation projects, serving as an artist-mediator and artistic advisor. In 2021, he joined the Board of Directors of Espace Oriri, further deepening his commitment to the development of sensitive and community-driven artistic initiatives.
In 2022, he joined CAPAS · Label de danse as a production manager, where he supports dance companies such as Destins Croisés and CAPAS-led productions including Minuit quelque part.
