Chorégraphe, Enseignant.e, Interprète

Megan Gaudreault is a movement artist based in Montreal (Tiohtià:ke). She began dancing at a young age in a dance-study program, training in contemporary, jazz, ballet, tap, and hip-hop. In 2022, she discovered the Big Bang program, an intensive contemporary dance program, and remained closely connected to Stéphanie Decourteille, whom she later assisted. This collaboration allowed her to dive into Stéphanie’s creative world and develop a deep love for floorwork and multidisciplinarity.

She finds great inspiration in exchange and collaboration with other artists, which continually nourish her creativity. In 2023, she traveled to Berlin for the B12 Festival and took part in a residency in Annecy, where she developed a duet with Manon Sérignat-Daléas entitled Se Rencontrer, a work-in-progress created between France and Quebec. They performed at the Stage de Pont-l’Abbé as well as at Salle Pierre Lamy in Annecy.

Her most recent performance was in Sans tête ni queue by Sarah Roy, where she immersed herself in a sensitive, playful, and dreamlike universe.

Alongside her career as a performer, Megan shares her passion for dance through teaching, working with competitive contemporary and jazz teams while sharing her creativity and energy with both youth and adults.
