Seeking for Assistant to Box Office – Théâtre Desjardins
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
– Take orders and invoice tickets in person or by telephone.
– Answer spectators’ questions by phone and e-mail.
– Provide friendly, personalized customer service.
– Maintain customer database.
– Produce and send reports.
– Support the Box Office Manager in tasks related to school reservations, subscription campaign preparation, outdoor kiosks, procedure writing and Tuxedo system programming.
– Carry out various administrative tasks related to ticket sales.
PROFILE SOUGHT
We’re looking for someone who loves customer service and has an excellent knowledge of spoken and written French. Spoken English is also useful for answering questions from customers who don’t speak French. We often work with Excel and Word, so a good knowledge of the Office suite is required. Knowledge of the Tuxedo ticketing system is an asset. The Ticketing Assistant is a position requiring autonomy, rigor, resourcefulness and a sense of initiative. You also need a big smile and patience. It takes a complete team to carry out the Theatre’s activities, so the ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively is essential.
