MamaDances TFacilitator Training
MamanDanse is offering an in-person training for facilitators from August 12 to 22, 2025, in Montreal at the UQAM Dance Pavilion. Participants can choose:
• Parent-Child Dance (ages 1–4) – August 12 to 16
• Mom-and-Baby Dance (ages 2–12 months) – August 18 to 22
• Or take both in an intensive 10-day program (August 12 to 22)
Led by Eryn Dace Trudell, MA, founder trained at Juilliard, New York, and UQAM, this immersive training includes:
• 35 studio practice hours per module (70 hours total for both)
• Choreography
• Music playlists
• Teaching manuals
• Observation sessions
• Peer teaching exercises
• A certificate of participation
The training also provides access to online programs (depending on the chosen option), visibility on the MamanDanse website, and opportunities to work with MamanDanse.
Fee: 900 CAD per 5-day module or 1,500 CAD for both.
This training is designed for:
• Dance artists
• Body arts instructors
• Therapists
• Dance studio managers
• Anyone who wishes to integrate the body into their work—whether they are perinatal workers, studio managers, yoga teachers, social workers, or community center facilitators.
It prepares you to confidently lead workshops supporting child development and parent-child bonding, while building a flourishing, flexible career that respects family life. Ongoing support will also be provided through a facilitator community, promotional tools, and updates.
