Biographie

Born in 1989 in Barretos in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, Márcio Vinícius Paulino Silveira trained with the Bolshoi Theatre School in Joinvillle. After receiving his technical degree in contemporary dance in 2009, Márcio worked briefly for the Young Company of the Bolshoi Theatre School in Brazil. In 2010, Márcio joined as soloist dancer the internationally renowned Montreal dance company La La La Human Steps and traveled abroad to perform their latest creation. In 2014, Marcio was a Guest Artist for EzDanza dance company in Montreal. In 2015, Márcio joined Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal, where he traveled abroad and performed 6 different works in the company’s repertoire. In the same year, Márcio worked as a choreographer for a video concept and performed for HEART-IBIZA, a Diner-show/Nightclub created by 45 Degrees – Cirque du Soleil. In 2016, he was invited to choreography and oversee the artistic performances for the ANNUAL BAL DU MAC at the Museum of Contemporary Arts of Montreal. As well in 2016, Márcio was part as a dancer for the Opera Starmania in Quebec City. Márcio has worked and performed creations from different choreographers such as Edouard Lock, Vladimir Vasiliev, Rodrigo Pederneiras, Victor Quijada, Andonis Foniadakis, Cayetano Soto, Barak Marshall, Itzik Galili, Stephane Boko, Nadine Gerspacher, Edgar Zendejas, Philippe Trehet, Alex Neoral, Clébio de Oliveira, Jomar Mesquita,Gustavo Cortez and others. In the past 8 years, as professional dancer, Márcio has performed in 19 countries and over 170 cities around the globe.
